MEPA’s workshops are designed for medical professionals with a degree in medicine. We welcome general practitioners and specialists who are keen on advancing their skills in pain management.

To ensure a high-quality, interactive learning experience, we limit the number of participants in each workshop. This allows for more personalized attention and a better hands-on experience.

Our program is divided into four modules, each focusing on different aspects of pain management. The modules are progressive, starting from foundational insights to clinical mastery.

A medical degree is required. Prior experience in pain management is beneficial but not mandatory, as our program covers both foundational and advanced topics.

If the current workshop is full, you will be placed on a waiting list for the next available session. We prioritize candidates on the waiting list for future workshops.

Yes, participants who successfully complete all four modules and pass the final assessment will receive a certification, recognizing them as proficient in pain therapy management.

Participants are encouraged to complete all four modules to gain comprehensive knowledge and skills. However, enrollment in individual modules may be possible based on your experience and our availability.

Dr. Amar Salti, serving as a Consultant in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE, brings a wealth of expertise from his education at Rene Descartes University, Paris, and his fellowship at Bichat Hospital, Paris. Board-certified in both Anesthesia and Pain Medicine in France and holding the European diploma in Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Dr. Salti is a respected figure in the field. He is the chairman of the New York School of Regional Anesthesia Middle East and founder of the Gulf Pain School. His role as President of the World Society of Pain Clinicians highlights his significant contributions to pain management education and practice.

Dr. Tolga Ergönenç, an esteemed anesthesiologist and pain management specialist, leads The Akyazı Pain Center & Traditional and Complementary Medicine Unit in Turkey. A graduate of Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, he specializes in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures and musculoskeletal ultrasonography. Dr. Ergönenç is renowned for his multimodal approach to pain management, integrating pharmacotherapy and various therapeutic interventions. Dr. Maroun Ghabach, a Lebanese-certified anesthesiologist with over 25 years of experience, stands as a pillar in the medical community. His extensive career includes prestigious roles as a Professor in Anesthesia at both the Lebanese University and the University of Balamand, where he also serves as the Chairperson of the Anesthesia Department.

A founding member of the Arab Board of Pain Management Committee, Dr. Ghabach has significantly contributed to the field through more than 20 publications and has been honored with numerous awards from anesthesia societies. Dr. Abdallah El-Sayed Allam, M.D.

Consultant and Lecturer in Rheumatology Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, Egypt

Dr. Abdallah Allam earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Tanta University in Egypt, followed by an MSc in Physical Medicine, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation and a Doctorate Degree (MD) in the same field. His academic achievements include an H index of 7, over 230 citations, and 38 publications. Currently a lecturer at Tanta University’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Allam is also a consultant interventional physiatrist at the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. He contributes to various international organizations and is involved in founding and instructing the Egyptian Society of Musculoskeletal and Neuromuscular Sonography (ESMNS) and the Arab League of Musculoskeletal Neuromuscular and Spine Ultrasound (ALMNSU). Dr. Allam’s expertise extends to his role as a faculty member in educational institutions like the Rheuma Pain Academy, the Gulf Pain School, and the Middle East Pain Academy.
